Hello,
Could I please get an SRS check on M1903A1 Springfield serial number 1509876?
Thank you.
Oh! Yeah....you do! I'm such a tard! I should have known that. I was concerned about the out of focus image. Oh well, maybe others will find it useful/interesting.
Hello John......Here is a more in focus image of that 1934 SRS sheet
Hello John,
How are you? On this particular rifle, I was sent this SRS sheet. Seems to confirm what you say about majority NM rifles being DCM sales.
Thanks. I go to them quite often. Yes...their prices do seem high. Collectors Firearms out of Houston, TX has some good stuff but they are even higher priced.
Thank you, John. I appreciate your reply. A year or so ago, I assembled a complete SA rifle (MkI receiver with an SA 9-42 barrel....see pics) mostly to use extra parts that I had laying around,...
ViShooter web page shows: 1934 Jan 1 - 1441812
1935 Jan 1 - 1491532.......so, yes.....Approx 50K units.
Pats.....Receivers, barrels, stocks...just about...
Hello....Do you have a reference or book where you know about this? Am not challenging your statement, I'd like to know so I can read/learn more for myself. I have the Brophy book and one or two...
I have an SRS documented1932 NM. I am not a collector of NM rifles that will just sit in the safe. Even those come up infrequently. Cannot even imagine that my humble 17 rifle collection is anywhere...
Please don't forget that Rock Island and Morphy auctions have a 20% buyer's premium.
I have an SRS documented 1932 Made NM with an SA 6-32 Star GAuged barrel. Also a 1937 with an SA 4-37 Star Gauged barrel that an SRS search places amongst a group of NM rifles, but no specific hit on...
Ok....given the other statements that are just concerned about money.......how much longer.....how many more years should I search for what I am looking for?
Sure, the discrepancies are noted, but...
Have searched Rock Island.....Morphy..........gunsamerica..........gunsinternational.........all of the large vendors...........the Riverofgu s forum search engine and even Google search. I have been...
Promo......Am not saying that I would or am buying it.....and your replies still haven't addressed my question about the possibility of the receiver and barrel being originally mated.. I do not need...
This is my "Home Made" USMC sniper Replica. All components of the rifle are Springfield......Pre-War C Stock.....SA 1932 Serialed receiver......SA 5-32 Star Guaged barrel......NS bolt...
Yes, I did notice those things......mentioned them in my post. Am not looking for just an 03.....I am looking for a 1933 and a 1934 with barrel dates that agree, which I also mentioned and have been...
Hello Milsurps Friends,
I am tracking a 1934 serialed rifle with an SA 11-34 barrel installed. The serial, 1469233, places it about in the middle of the production numbers for 1934. Do any of...
Hello Milsurpers,
Could someone please check a serial number is the SRS listings?
M1903 Springfield - 1438790
Thank you.

Plant....as in Factory? How many different "Plants" would be making these? I have seen 3 distinct two digit numbers and at least 1 Single digit number.
Guess it will remain a mystery.
Have been presented with that theory, but from the examples of barrel stamping that I have seen, it doesn't work. Meaning that a "Month/Day"
scenario would necessitate up to 4 digits in the middle...
Hello Milsurp Friends,
I have been trying to find out, so I thought I would also ask on this forum.
Can anyone explain what the 2 digits (62 on this barrel) in the middle of the Breda M1 Garand...
Well, at least I don;t have to worry about using some historic receiver to build something out of it's character.
Thank you for checking.
Am wanting to have all that done, but I want to use a correct front sight. S&S and Numrich have repro bases and blades. I want to be able to mount a bayonet. WHy? IDK! I just want correct dimensions...
Ok....I figured out the formatting of the wbsite. But to post pics, it wants a URL. I only have pics saved on my computer. I do not have an outside photo storage/posting location.
Oh well.
Hello Milsurp Friends,
Could I please have some check SRS for 1898 Krag 472932?
I know it was made in 1898.
This is a cut down rifle to "School rifle" length, but the measurements are not...
