Who makes the nicest A2 buttstock today ? I want one that has great fit and finish.....not the pieces of junk where the buttstorage door jumps up and down or the buttplate is not finished neatly...
......thanks Lester, I'll give 'em a try !
....any ideas where I can obtain an original and complete tool pack for the early Belgium metric FAL ?
There's a word that came to mind when I viewed the pict, but I don't think it's suitable for the forum, so I'll choose another one............pathetic !

What rear sight type would have been standard on the 1950 Longbranch ?
Thank you gentlemen...........

Nice score, steal of a price ! Those MkII's are the creme de la creme of the No.4's
I'd be interested in hearing from others in different parts of the world what type of gun laws/restrictions/prohibs are on the books in their respective countries. While Canada has it's share of...
Nice collection .... tnx for the pict !
I can see how the price would be floating around there. In the mid nineties, I paid 250.00 for a complete wrapped issue (matching bayonet included), 225.00 for the Savage (including bayonet) and...
What are these wrapped MkII's going for now ? It grieves me to think I had 6 of them plus 2 Savages and 3 consecutively serial numbered 1950 Longbranches (all unfired) about 10 years back that have...
Lately, I've come across a fair amount of No.4 wood that has the CE1967 stamp on the for-end caps. Where / When were these made ? tnx
As a nurse, the one thing that "struck" me was the crude body mechanics and not so great positioning of the materials....these ladies must have had some serious muscular-joint pain at the end of...
Would someone kindly pass me the drooling towel ? Very nice indeed !
The plaque is silver. My sister is sending out to me as soon as the postal situation improves. If memory serves correctly, he scored 5900+ out of 6000. Wished he could have been around longer to...
During the war, my uncle was in the RCAF. In 1944 he was presented with the Dominion Shield (plaque) for Marksmanship. My question is what calibre they would have shot ..... 303 or 22 ? How many...
