I have the opportunity to purchase a stunning example at $475.00 and am new too the Enfield. Would y'all consider this fair market value?

That is on the low side of average current price. It would be difficult to find one for less.

OK I'm not up on Enfield prices lately as I bought my Trials "T" five years ago and out side of keeping track of the prices on "T's", (I have two), I've not checked the prices on other model Enfields.
However I just picked up a direct out of the woodwork, a minty, looks never issued, and all correct 1942 Maltby having no import/export stamps.
I only paid $100 US for it which I know was a steal and I intent to keep it because it's like a time capsule.
But in reading this thread about the value of the MK2, I'm curious what the MKI Maltby in the condition like one I have would be worth? Also which would be worth more in the same condition, a MKI or a MKII? The photos show it as I got it with light storage grime still on it. I've cleaned it up since and out side of a few very minor handing marks in the wood, it looks like a new rifle right off the factory line. Also does anyone know what the FNR stamped in the stock stands for? Had a couple of possiblities but would like to pin it down, Ray
