    Type I band

Correct me if I ma wrong, but don't real type I bands have 2 or 3 spot welds holding the barrel retaining ring on? Here's one with only one weld (like repros) with some cosmolene smeared on Stamped "UN" he has one with UI stamped on it that he hasn't even bother to smear cosmo on. His escape clause is " I believe this band to be real but I am not an expert on these."

M1icon Carbine barrel band type1 UN marked : Other at GunBroker.com

PS the UI one has a really large and odd script, too.

    Both bands are bad repros.

    Pretty funny.

He lists a repo band for $29.99

Then the other two stamped for $65

I guess two strokes of a hammer are worth $35.01

When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

Then you got better eyes than I do, because I still don't see it, even with my glasses on using a magnifying glass.
