A rare "all correct" 1942 No.4 Mk1*(T) Savage Sniper Rifle (less scope) (click here) .....



Lance's article, accompanied by a detailed 165 pic photo montage, speaks to this example as being one of approximately 3,400 rifles converted by Holland and Holland and re-barreled with an Enfield 5 groove barrel, however, it was never fitted with a matching No.32 scope.

There are also several entries with pics noted in the "Collector's Feedback and Comments" section of the main Knowledge Library entry, including a discussion with photo montage by "terrylee" on what made up the contents of a No.4(T) sniper kit, a discussion how to spot a fake No.4(T), identifying Weedon repair markings (with pics) on a No.4(T) and finally, a discussion surrounding the correctness of various types of sling swivels observed on No.4(T) rifles.

Badger that is a great report. Full of insites and super photos. I have a 15C that looked unfired and full of cosmoline and a lot of the questions I had have been answered.

It contains a small photo montage of his very early 1941 No.4 Mk1(T) Savage Sniper Rifle (less scope) serial #0C160. Beautiful looking rifle in great conidtion. You can see what great care Brian takes in looking after it.
