Looks like it's wearing a nice Finn stock. Looks good! You can make the pics a litle bigger though. 640x480 is a good size IMHO.

Is it my eyes, or is it missing the cleaning rod? If so, you can easily find a replacement on e-bay

Try seller police-museum-curator I've used him before the replace missing Mosin cleaning rods.

Is it an Izhevsk or a Tula? (has to be one of those if dated 1941).

Thanks, I'll try to enhance the pics a bit, I kept getting the too big message so I guess I over shrunk it. Yep these is a cleaning rod and a little neat SA in a box on the drivers side of the barrel. I might be taking my boys out for a little shooting tomorrow and will have at least one of the Finn's in tow along with one build, 24/47, K98, Mk III, Savage 12 VSS, Finn sneak M39, FSR and what ever else I can fit in the VW trunk. I'll let you know how they fly-SDH
