It's a fake. Here's a link:
World War II S&W Shotgun ?
Are you sure it's a Remington barrel? Savage barrels will fit the Remy receivers but may need fitting to operate. They also had Ordnance marked barrels. I fitted a Savage barrel to one of my M11s and...
My 1929 SA 03 came with a 1919 Avis barrel, and an SA GAW 03 scant stock. Hardware was SA 03 except the bolt, which was a Commercial Controls replacement bolt.
Muzzle loaders, antique or new made, are exempt from federal regulations. Cartridge arms have to be pre 1899 to be exempt. Local regulations may regulate transfer or ownership.
You know what they say, after a month or so, guests and garbage really start to stink! Thanks to Milsurps for putting up with us Yanks! If it's OK, I'll hang around a while.
Here it is installed in an original stock. Ed Knisely has the cleaning rod, so off goes another Benjamin to get it here!

Take your cuzz out for some beers and find out what he would trade for the 1868. Just because he's adopted doesn't mean he lacks a connection to gramps. Do you have something gramps-related that he...
That "OPL" might actually be a sloppy "ODL" for a driver's license number from a state that begins with "O".
As far as "Once a machine gun...." That only goes for the receiver. The Sten tube is the receiver, all the AK kits are former MG's without receivers. In WA state, mere possession of a part...
I have never seen a finger groove stock with an A3 handguard ring cut! That stock alone has gotta be worth it's weight in firewood! :runaway:
If I were you, the SC would be the shooter. Someone took some time to dress it up and put a better shooting stock on it. Another thing, how correct is the Remington? If it is also a mixmaster, it may...
There is a specific list of AK parts, 16 on a stamped rifle, 15 on a milled (no separate trunnion), that you can substitute for US compliant parts. The most common are:
US made mag- 3 parts...
There is an extension on the receiver that protrudes into the stock. If the screw is completely loose, wrap a towel into a pad, place it on the pistol grip, and use light taps with a rubber mallet to...
Thank you sir! I have a brand new NOS handguard with your name on it, and here's a link to some reasonably priced parts. BE CAREFUL of repros, Numrich sent me repros for the rear handguard ring and...
Original replacement scant stocks are fairly common. I've seen them on e-bay and elsewhere. I may know someone who would be interested in the stock. Let me know what it's worth to you.
It's full length, with the original front sight base and a removable blade. The shadows of the original bands and stock are still there.

Quite the collection!
The buttstock will also have a number stamped where it meets the receiver. A long straight bladed screwdriver will remove the stock. I don't know the production dates of the 620, so I can't help you...
My receiver is 17105, only 25 away from your barrel. You need to pull the stock to see the receiver number.
The stock that Al Frasca has is a field replacement stock with acceptance but no inspector marks. I'll only need to find a cleaning rod when I get the stock. I'll post pics when it's together. It...
My 1884 was purchased with a cut down stock. The metal and bore are in nice condition with some bluing wear. I found a nice stock at Al Frasca's site and sent off my ducats. Here's some pics of what...
I recently purchased a Stevens 620 Riot that, while mechanically sound, cosmetically it leaves a lot to be desired. First off, there are 4 different serial #s. 9445 on the butt, 17105 on the...
Nice work! Do you have a source for the heat shields? I just picked up an Ordnance marked Stevens 620 and would like to install one. I'm also looking for a military buttstock. Unfortunately, my...
I'm thinking of purchasing a US marked Stevens 620 locally. It has a Weaver El Paso compensator on it. Did they use these shotguns for gunner training like the Remy M11s, or is this an add on?
