I find my Ross model 1910 is very accurate with either Sierra 180 gr SP or Sierra 174gr HPBT and 4320 powder.

what you need for target shooting is a Parker-Hale PH5C receiver sight. These fit on the Enfield#4 where the military sight is and a longer ejector screw is used also.
I have the stock removed from my 1905 Ross and there are two screws in the bottom of the action under where the barrel screws in. they screw in from the bottom close to the chamber end of the barrel....
I have a Model 10 Ross .303 British cal. it has a replacement sporter stock and the barrel is free floated. the barrel looks like new inside. I separate my cases by weight. load is 180gr Sierra SP...
hello A. F Medic
that looks like a Redfield NO.70 Series Receiver sight. the code X means it is for a Winchester model 1903 or 63. maybe the 1 is really a T. the code XT means it is for a...
I bought an A. J. Parker receiver sight for my U.S. Model of 1917, it is a Model T.Z. 3/53. it has a number 193 stamped on almost every part of it, I don,t know what 193 means. it fits on with no...
I presume you are talking about a U.S. model of 1917, 30-06. in mine I use 150gr FNGC cast bullets with 27grs of 4759 and fill the case almost full of cream of wheat. I have tried three different...
just got a nice P-17 and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some good cast bullet loads for it?
thank you skeet1.
I just got a 314299 lyman mold and a 314 sizing die,as soon as I get time I will mold some bullets and try them. this working uses a lot of my leisure time.
I have a #4 MK 1*. it is a Savage and has a two groove barrel.
150gr Hornady,s seem to work well in these old enfields, might be because they are .312 dia.
thanks Andy, I,ll see if I can find any of that stuff.
I slugged the barrels in my #4 MK 1*,s, one measures .314". and the other is .315". any suggestions on what bullet mold I should use? lead bullets should be .002", - .003", over bore size.

I am a new member. I have a couple enfield #4 mk 1*,s. one is really nice and the other is not quite so nice, but I am sure this the place to find out how to change...
