most pot belly stocks will have no marking or at best an SA in the barrel channel at the muzzle end. I am sure it is a post war replacement stock as is the recoil plate.

think the first picture says it all, looks like a new stock, no marks and it looks more like stain not RLO or similar as well as the stamp distance from each other....IMO of course.
I would imagine his barrel band is a cut down T3 to T2 as he lives in the state of NY where, as we all know, a bayonet lug is a weapon of mass destruction. Serial number on stock is indeed a sign...
