If you read his post, you'd have noticed it's a Martini-ENFIELD in .303 calibre. He didn't need M-H brass and dies. :p
Linked hands are Argentine, I think.
One point worth noting, some of the beech stocks don't take kindly to stain. On regular walnut, Kiwi brown shoepolish works well.
Might be a problem using the Mk.III cocking piece on the No.4. I have one of the early Savage round headed cocking pieces for a No.4, would that turn your crank? Do you have some rhino horn for a...
Them M95's must have had a rather fragile finish, even the ones in good shape seem to have gray metal. Especially the bands, etc.
yeah, great advice, thanks, move to Obama land........
The 1916 is a small ring, made on the old '93 type action. Many were built during the Spanish Civil War, and the ones I had didn't seem to be very well made. The CETME cartridge is a less powerful...

What is a Bulldog?
Just remember, a little goes a long way.............
I had a POF No.4 once, all matching #'s, but only the small lug was actually locking the bolt. You could fit a piece of paper behind the rib on the bolt. It took quite a bit of stoning to fix it....
These things always amaze me, the first time I tried mine I wasn't expecting much, figured that bayonet would ruin the accuracy. Boy, was I surprised!
#%&*!! Guess I'll only be buying Swiss or Swedish surplus firearms from now on.
On Lee Enfield rifles, one must ALWAYS check to be sure that both lugs are bearing evenly if the bolt is mis-matched. They almost never do on mis-matched rifles, even if the headspace is okay. The...
I have a Carcano 91/40, which appears unissued. All matching #'s and no sanding of the wood or anything. It operates so stiffly that no amount of oil or grease will smooth it out. This is the only...
