Hello Steve762,
I would recommend contacting Anders (soeairdrop@gmail.com) as i am sure i saw he was able to do the price in dollars and ship anywhere.
Hello friends,
I recently purchased a book written by a very good friend of mine on the subject of 'SOE Equipment Air Dropped in Europe 1940-1945'
I rarely post about or recommend items but i...
Is it possible to download these videos?
Many thanks
Sorry but all three are incorrect... Take another look at the one i have pictured.
It does not have a sliding knot both ends.
The picture is just for reference and not actually my setup.
But noted not to set mine up in this manor.
I am currently still waiting for the lanyards to rain down on me, but its not looking...
Out of curiosity Roger, what paint are you using on these??
Ah yes, thanks for reminding me. Will put one up and wait for the rain!
Cheers
Well that was quick and easy...
If anybody has one or knows of one for sale anywhere that would be much appreciated. This is the last component i require to complete this rig!
Hello friends,
Just want to check this is the correct lanyard issued with the Inglis Hi Power. This is what i believe to be correct, pictured with just one knot one end and other end with a sort...
It certainly looks like a nice clean example, but my knowledge on these is very limited.
I have no affiliation with the seller whatsoever just to clarify, i am simply sharing the advert.
This has just popped up for sale, you may all find it mildly interesting.

No problem mate, keep us updated.
Shame as it's a great looking scope, and was one of my main reference sources for my conversion hence i recognised it instantly.
Hmmm, i would be suspicious of this...
2 years ago i converted my No.42 to No.32 Mk.1 specification for a project. In my quest to gather as much knowledge and reference pictures as possible i...
Wow, that is awful.
Literally every bit is incorrect or totally wrong, cobbled together by an absolute muppet.
Check out the front pad, its not sitting on the ledge at all. Those screws will be under even more pressure as the pad has no support.
Very nice rifle, looks good with the correct mount and scope as it should.
Having the cover letter from Ian Skennerton is a nice reassurance and should give great confidence in it's authenticity.
(Yet another one with a hammed up Pacific Rim bracket, for one thing)
Yes those bloody scope brackets are everywhere these days!! Hahaha...
The fitment of those pads looks terrible, both pads appear to be sitting very high and not resting on the the action correctly.
Perfect!
Thank you Roger, you can definitely see the Long Branch brackets were the inspiration for the angled leg. Just a shame it's so perfectly done.
Can i be super cheeky and see from above showing the...
Appreciate the pictures smle addict...
Thanks guys, yes it is a Long Branch rifle so may go the bluing route.
Does anybody have any nice pictures of a REL / LB bracket for reference?
I agree, it needs the weathered look. The 2 thumbscrews on the bracket are not the originals it came with. They were junk and the knurling was pathetic so i replaced them.
They were in the white...
Thanks Roger, yes that was my plan and the whole reason for the refinish. Remove the ledge and rough up the casting.
I am rather nervous about doing it, even tho it is just a cheap mount i cannot...
