Just the other week I finished a semi-auto SBR for a friend. The Sten is agriculturally simple and an excellent example of efficiency on a budget. It's magazines sort of stink, but it works.
I loved that show. It had many soon to be famous actors in most the shows.
This is about the 308th Battalion of the 77 INF Division during the Argonne Offensive in 1918. My paternal grandfather was an ammo bearer for a "Chauchat Gun" in another battalion of that division....
I guess this makes me a speech Nazi but I believe it's “Die Schwartzen Teufel”.
You are correct, those men aren't climbing. I once got to train for two weeks at Harrison. We stayed in their old barracks, though I'm sure they are gone now. Pity, if they are gone they should have...
I've watched this movie several times and it is a great watch.

Not a bad way to check out, though the woman may be traumatized.
"Clemente debuted with the Pirates on April 17, 1955, wearing uniform number 13, in the first game of a doubleheader against the Brooklyn Dodgers. Early in his career with the Pirates, he was...
I sported a No. 2 most my 24 years when in the field.
The liner is also a part of the helmet and is not removable. The reason the GI helmet could be used as it was was because the helmet and liner were two separate pieces. No other helmet ever produced...

Those would be M-79 Grenade Launchers I believe.
Buy two new stocks from the CMP, label and box the old ones, and enjoy your Garand's. They are still great battle weapons. They'll shoot through trees and walls which is a plus.
I once had a decent 49/56 with all the goodies to include the scope and accessories. I really liked the rifle (and wished I gone for "hand select" as it was a little beat) but I finally decided I...
Kind of the wrong forum for such a question. However Gunbroker and a few other sites may give you a reasonable answer. Remember though, an item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
I'm probably incorrect, but it seems to me that adding glass bedding to the stock to improve trigger group lockup and no other glass bedding is done that really doesn't constitute a glass bedded...
The selector switch is the only clearly visible feature that distinguishes the M2 from the M1, and once you know that the identification is easy.
I don't think the North Koreans or Chinese used the MG42 much, if at all.
So will cigarette's, booze, and a myriad of other things that we enjoy.
I read each part twice. I've admired Dale Dye for decades.
I spent a lot of time in really bad weather as a cavalry scout and an infantryman for 20 years wearing glasses. And I always shot expert during qualification rain, shine, or snow.
Firing that Bazooka in that hole could be very uncomfortable. Back blast is no joke.
That is one butt ugly pistol.
It's been a long time, but when I went thru Basic Training in 1970 I was issued an XM16E1 made by General Motors Hydramatic. I seem to recall it had a lower receiver with the fence around the...
