I have a Ithaca which was made I believe in 1943 the serial number is 858032 if anyone can tell be where it was shipped or any other information I sure would appreciate it Thanks

Here you go, from my research which doesn't mean much it was manufactured in 1881 and there were 501 Carbines produce that year also it appears it was the last year of the Model 1873 stamped breech...
I will get some pictures next week, I have a new granddaughter that myself and wife are visiting, Thanks

I haven't been out much looked at buying a M1 Garand so I went to a gun show looked at mix masters with terrible stocks and the lowest prices I could find were $1500 I guess I won't be able to ever...

yes it has been altered to the M1892/96 thanks for looking in SRS.
