That was my initial assumption. If the British government was handing out Enfield revolvers to Egypt, they'd probably include P37 holsters. Just looking for other suggestions, if there are any.

Just thought I'd post this, as I am in a posting mood, and haven't been active for far too long (had to sell my collection to pay bills, but now have a well-paying job with benefits - and I get to...
Just picked this up for my Enfield revolver collection, thought I'd share (paid too much for it, but I wanted it). It is a 1942 Canadian P37 Mk.I holster issued to armored corps (according to...
I am now regretting selling my Long Branch No.4 Mk.1/2. It was a bit beat up, but the serial numbers matched, and I have not seen one since in the flesh (and only a few examples online). The good...
No, not usual. Just interesting. Just a typical Lee Enfield that went to hell and back twice lol. It just amazes me that the actions of these rifles could and did go through so much and stay useable.
Thought I'd share this one before she found a new home. A 1915 BSA ShtLE MK.III* with a barrel date of 1918. Although I can only assume that this was a rebarrel during the 1st World War (they...
Any ideas on this? A 1941 Lithgow No.1 Mk.III*, usual markings on the buttstock, but "1055" also stamped in about 1/2" high characters.

Rear sight de-bent, is now true, so that is one more hurdle jumped. I have been looking over the rifle after stripping it down and noticed a few things:
1. Regulated by Fulton's mark - any idea if...
Managed to find a reputable gunsmith in town who can straighten the part for $35. Will know how well he did when I go back into town on Tuesday.
It is steel. I'll be going to a local gunsmith tomorrow to see if they can bend it back. The problem is getting it back to true.
That would be wonderful if you could guys. It would save me a lot of heartache. I just want this rifle functional and back in use.

What would be the best way to go about this? Stripping it down and using a blow torch? I might have to find someone else to fix this - it might be beyond me.
Yes, my No.4 7.62 CONV turned up, and I am overall happy with the rifle. Looks like it went through Fulton's hands at some point (has the "regulated by Fulton's" mark). The magazine is unnumbered,...
Well, bought it, will post photos and a range report as soon as I can.
So true. I have had an Enfield Enforcer, several No.1 Mk.111*s, various No.4s, including a couple of 1941 Long Branch No.4 Mk.1s, and recently narrowly missed out on a No.4 T. Would have loved to...
Just got a better photo - bolt serial does match.
Can someone confirm that the serial number should be on the bolt handle? Does anyone have a photo of the serial number on the bolt handle of this type of rifle? This is what was just emailed to me:

Not sure, Brian, still trying to find out if the bolt matches! I did find this on a prior thread here " All 7.62mm Conv rifles had Factory numbered 7.62mm Magazines and fitted with Target Sights....
Thanks most kindly. I thought the prices would be all over the place. I have the opportunity to pick the rifle up for $1300 (whoops, did a typo), so I'd better jump at it. Should I be worried about...

I'm helping someone out researching a 1969 No.4 7.62 CONV. The rifle is in very good condition, all complete. Any idea of a ballpark value currently in the US? Will try and post a photo later.
Now I am intrigued. I picked up a 1931 Enfield No.2 (no import mark, no civilian proofing marks, no sold out of service marks - maybe someone "accidently" brought it home to the US?), and it came...
Hope to meet up with my friend in the next week or 2, will go over the transit chest with a fine-toothed comb to see what other marks there are.
A friend of mine has a No.4 T transit chest. He has no idea what the stamped marking in the photo means. I have no clue. I have searched this forum and others, but to no avail. Any idea what it...
