Hmm, good question. One thing you could do is try to get the company to send you the "MSDS" sheet. Sometimes they may not want to tell you "use product X, it's the same stuff but lots cheaper!" but companies can be ok sharing the MSDS sheet with you. Then you know if it's a simple product or some weird mix unique to that company's product...Information
