Politics is a very interseting subject and I must agree this really is not the right forum to discuss it, besides ALL my friends agree with my politics and that is why they are my friends. All of us (my friends an myself included) long ago figured out the political game and absolutely don't associate with people with contradicting views.

Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

TDH you have such a heavy cross to bear, my deepest sympathy.

apolitical
Is gun control political ? When we moved from the UK to France
seven years ago, I was allowed to take any gun components provided they were not "pressure bearing" parts . Now I see British
dealers adverts claiming that they are not allowed to export gun-stocks nor telescopic sights . If I click on e-bay UK they often block viewing of militaria "hard-ware" because of export restrictions , you're not even allowed to look let alone bid !
Question ; Is all this now law , or have the trade been given some kind of threat if they don't kowtow to this all powerful quasi-religious/political/control agenda ? Is there any forum that details national/international rules and restrictions ... without getting all opinionated ?

So I can't spell, so what!!!

Without wishing to get all opinionated, I think this is indeed kowtowing to the all powerful quasi-religious/political/control agenda. What the Germans call "vorauseilender Gehorsam" - bowing to non-existent regulations that someone, somewhere might enforce, in the kind of self-censorship that gives those of a restrictive mentality an easy ride. I think ebay suffers from this, and it varies from country to country. For instance, from Germany
I can look at the US online auctions (so it is not a US legal restriction), but not so much as a cleaning rod on US ebay. Hard luck if you actually want to purchase gunmetal, not guns!

Except for the Yank Comment.
I like the fact that there are not hundreds of political posts to wade through to find one firearm related post. Which is what I increasingly have to do on other forums. I personally think many try to post political crap on forums like this because they are too ummmm can I say pu##y to post on a political forum. Where they would get ripped to shreds.

Is it the comment you didn't like or is it the name ? Hope us Brits don't offend y'all by the term , it's not intended . Hope nobody's trying to be politically-correct here 'cos politics aren't allowed . Talking of women ??? I recently found Heather Lacroix on you-tube ... one feisty southern belle who just likes to have fun with her guns (lots of them) . I think she could out-pull the best recruiting sergeant . Do any of you think she creates a negative image ? (for shooters).
