Agh, thats whatnI thought Peter 'till I googled it and it looks as though they didn't form untill Feb 1961, unless that refers to a paticular part of the RLI

Army butt disc markings at the time the practice ceased in 1942. Interesting reading too. I'd go as far as to suggest that every forumer buys a copy....

Almost certainly...which would also explain the Indian arsenal mark. Good catch.

It was probably PRE Ox and Bucks LI. Just Oxfordshire Light Infantry
