You said you had to adjust the vented plug to find the sweet spot
The other plug is not vented, only has a larger port area. How can one size fits all possibly work?? By what you just said, it cant
I was alittle undecided on these before until a unbiased gun builder told me of his experience with them. He tried it but afterwards will only use Schuster in his builds
I'm a little confused Orlando. What part of the ported design is confusing. Thankfully the laws of physics apply everywhere including web forums. If you increase the volume of a space and inject a fix amount of gas the pressure must decrease when compared against a small volume (ie. USGI plug). The gas laws has been around since the 1800's. After three years of testing the plug and measuring its performance I would hope all the data I've provided would be enough. If not, what additional information would you need to see? [Garand Gear Data]

I'd also ask you to expand upon your comments about the unbiased gun builder and his experience. I've yet to receive any negative feedback on the product with many hundreds in use over the past several years. What specifically was the problem he had? If he's unhappy with the product please have him contact me. I'll be glad to buy it back from him and install it on the new Garand I'm building right now.

I'm also very curious as to what people do as the vents foul on the vented plugs and the pressures spikes. Do you reset the plug every 50 to 100 rounds fired?
