    VAR barrels are of Danishicon manufacture. VAR= Vaabenarsenalet= arms arsenal.

    In the second pix from the top I can read the complete drawing number. Can't you ?

    I can see the drawing number but it's hard to make out several of the digits. I dug my Danishicon return M-1 out of the safe and it has D 6535448 with a 7-60 date of manufacture. I assume the drawing numbers will be the same.

    In Danish it is spelled Våbenarsenalet
