1903 Springfield Sniper at Gun store for sale $3999.99
When back to the gun store and took pictures of that 1903 Sniper as requested. This one is WAY out of my price range. But thought the price was 'interestingAttachment 92210Attachment 92209Attachment 92208Attachment 92214Attachment 92213Attachment 92212Attachment 92211Attachment 92215Attachment 92216Attachment 92217'

While not necessary bad, the stock had been messed with and would originally had a metal buttplate. The absence of any inspector markings on the left side of the stock aside of what possibly is a K in the magazine cutoff would indicate it was a Keystone replacement. The bolt is also phosphated, what would be an arsenal overhaul feature. I think at this price there are better ones out there.

It is a real M1903A4, stock has been messed with, but it has a real Leupold-Stevens M84 telescope. Note the lack of a box around the serial number and the part number at 3:00 o'clock of the scope tube. I agree that the parkerized bolt indicates an overhaul / replacement, but still correct.

Yeah, I thought the price was a little overboard. I definitely would look elsewhere

Isn't worth that much money with the civilian recoil pad on it. Drops the value by at least half. So does the stock refinishing job.

Erm ... WHAT? You can clearly see the rubber pad on two pics being installed on this M1903A4. Are you talking on a different rifle?
