    Is the front sight protector screw in place as it seems there is an empty hole where it should be going from Left to Right as it may be set to far back and stuck in place for some reason/back to front maybe ! I mean she is a $20 rifle!

    Haha sometimes you just get what you pay for

    The screw was tightened, but even with the sight protector removed, the stock does not clear the front sight.

    I just looked at where the mainscrew lines up with the stock and it too does not line up, the stock sits too far forward.

    Theres not much meat to remove off the tail of the stock to back things up... without removing the strap and relocating it... unless im missing something!!
