    Any modern receiver will have to go through an FFL. Another mauser type action is the US 1917 enfield. I got a sporterized one in the mid '70's, for my first deer rifle. Still have it. I've put thousands of rounds through it since then, and it still will shoot if I do my part. It'll be the last one I ever sell
