I'm interested to know if the picture is a Marine from late WW2, or Korean war. Its most probable the later, but could be the end of the war. The thick base M2 flash hider and leather cheekpiece provide evidence of a scoped Garand
. The handset looks like one of the ww2 Navy style push-to-talk styles which remained in use through Korea.
