    Powder and Primers

I'm pretty well stocked, but recently looking around I see Primers slowly coming down in price, since the last time I looked.
But looking like Powder is climbing.
Primers listed for 7 to 8-cent each on sale. H110 and WRA296 @~ $47.99 lb @ Midsouth. +Add the Hazmat charge.
    Haven't looked at bullets yet.
Did I miss the low point?

    Anyone been shopping?

There hasn't been a "low" point.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

Last summer for awhile here. Powder was about $35 and primers about $5/100 - about what you show now. - Bob

Varget is still pricey at $58.99/lb. but at least it is now available in 8 lb. jugs at $52.50/lb.

Varget and IMR4895+IMR4064 has finally been readily available again, but the price point I'm seeing in-store abruptly went to +$10 a pound from where it was when it first came back on the shelves. This happened not too long ago. Perhaps import problems from the Canadaicon or Australianicon factories made it jump? To compare, has anyone else seen the price of light bulbs double? Expected since those all come from China.

Still no large rifle primers on shelves, but they have popped back every now and again online. TargetsportsUSA has always had close to cheapest prices, often with great bulk discounts - but they don't sell powder. primers and ammo only.

I think so long as Ukraine or Israel are at war, and we supply them with ammo, large rifle primers will continue to be scarce or at best inconsistent.

We pay at least $40CDN per pound on anything. IMR might be as much as $80CDN. So you guys still get it easy.
    Regards, Jim

I noticed Midsouth shooters supply had a decent amount of Large Rifle and LR Magnum primers in stock. Running 6 to 12 cent each.
