    1903 Striker rod

Came across some striker rods marked CV. Are these national match rods?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. No, but they do date from the 1930s. The CV is an abbreviation for "chrome vanadium". I suppose they could have been used on NM rifles, but I don't think they were used exclusively on them.

A few years ago, I came across one in a dealer's parts box for $5 - I sold it on eBay for $75!

Thanks Rick. I was cleaning out the storage rack and came across them. I completely forgot I had them. I need to start going through everything to see what else I forgot.

If they're just cluttering up your parts box, you can always send them to me!!
