    1903 Striker rod

Came across some striker rods marked CV. Are these national match rods?

No, but they do date from the 1930s. The CV is an abbreviation for "chrome vanadium". I suppose they could have been used on NM rifles, but I don't think they were used exclusively on them.

A few years ago, I came across one in a dealer's parts box for $5 - I sold it on eBay for $75!

Thanks Rick. I was cleaning out the storage rack and came across them. I completely forgot I had them. I need to start going through everything to see what else I forgot.

If they're just cluttering up your parts box, you can always send them to me!!
