.39 pistol cartridge?

In the thread about adjustable sights I noticed this reference"The .45ACP or .39 pistol cartridge could not meet the range requirement even with a shoulder holster according to the Infantry test report referenced in the initial requirements document.... " Is this a typo or was there another round under consideration I've never heard of?

Might have been a typo.Seems like it should have .38 caliber.
