Wow, what a price! That cost times more than my No4 MKI* did. But it is a dream of mine to have such a scope one day.

£1750 for a Mk1 and repro bracket (of the type that usually does not fit....)?!
"every thing you need to make your No4 into a sniper rifle...." (except some serious gunsmithing skills...)
".... you should take note that even the fake rifles are fetching £4,000 +" (er, I don't think so....)

Only 43 earlier than one I'm looking for... If it matched- who knows? Pitch the bracket and drive on. In 10 years it wouldn't matter.

It looks like the EBay thought police have removed it.
The cheeky sods recently asked users to support their 'rights' to list certain things that the manufacturers didn't want them to. I replied that I could not support such a hypocritical move on their part in view of their refusal to list things that were perfectly legal but some pressure groups just didn't like.
Back to the subject. That lister is/was a cheeky sod too.

I thought it was strange that the Ebay Police would have pulled it. If they do pull something that is 'questionable' they do listen. I put a cuple of CHS gauges on and they pullled them but when I explained that they weren't drill rounds or inert missiles, they put them on and didn't charge commission afterwards.
They pulled a Swift trainer too but I didn't grizzle, but after the CHS gauge episode I put the Swift on again hoping that they'd pull it - grizzle - put it back- make no ebay commission charge. But this time, it just sailed through without a problem!
I think it's all about wording
I know someones going to ask but it's snowing here on Salisbury plain and some snipers are out and don't know that they've been pulled in (difficult to stalk in snow.....) but I suppose that they're tucked up nice and warm in a hide somewhere.

It's really a question of whether they spot it - I also think there's a group of anti-gun types who keep their eyes peeled and put in complaints as much as possible on items.
However, there was one auction recently (I think from Australia
) which had a batch of enfield-y items, which included a bolt head (I think in the uk at least you'd have struggled to buy it normally without putting it on your ticket as it's load bearing - although it's naturally down to interpretation of the law!).

Yes but you need an Enfield shotgun to justify the spare bolt(s) bolt head(s) and other bits and pieces. :
Heres mine - Savage with magazine welded into the Trigger guard. (and its on my SGC - not FAC)
