Yes, photos of the front band and trigger guard area would be a good addition.

Just what you've pictured. Screws have been turned, but seem to be the ones that were used at assembly. Every once in a while you find one that's never been apart. I've got one, but the bolt is not matching.

Mine is all matching, including dust cover. Screws never been turned. A question. The cleaning rod is only threaded at one end. So two rifles could not be used to extend the rod enough to reach down the barrel. So what was done ?

Here is a Type 99 that the screws have never been turned. It looks hardly used, no cleaning rod or dust cover and the bolt does not match. It was traded for a set of car tires in '46 by a Vet. The car dealer held stuff for parts and service and when paid for the stuff was returned. I got it from his nephew who was settling the estate. Things had info tags on them.
