Larry Horners Collection of 30 Round Magazines and 15 round by Manufacture

This is a collection of various 30 round magazines put together by Larry Horner. Also have a collection of 15 rounders by manufacture in display box put together by Larry also. This is the same Larry from Liberty Armory out of Liberty, TX. Information on Larry Horner and his association with I.A.I and the Carbines he built is in Larry Ruth's new book III on pages 1512 thru 1514. Hope you enjoy.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Just a quick note: I was watching a show on TV the other day, it was the Smithsonian Channel and was about the photogs on Iwo Jima. I believe that most if not all of the film was genuine from Iwo film. Anyway, there was a combat photog holding a carbine, high wood, type two band, type 3 sights and a 30 round magazine! I'd never seen any 30s in any of these fims before.

Pure conjecture, but these guys were being shipped into and out of Iwo for the whole battle. The main boss was flown all the way back to Pearl just to explain the photograph that was taken by Rosenthal to top brass. They also flew out the film and still shots everyday to Guam and Pearl , so it may be that some guy straight from the states showed up with a new magazine.
