US combination tool for what firearm?
Came across this old US combination tool in a box of gun parts. Does anyone know which American military firearm it was designed for? I am thinking 19th century.Attachment 105812

It’s for a 1903.
They’re worth $20 or so.

Many thanks for the ID on this item. Have several guys in a fit researching it. An e... listing said Trapdoor Springfield. Several old "gun guys" said maybe for blackpowder arm. Only you and the "Springfield Book" agree!
Interesting that it is a tool for so common a rifle in the US and no one knows what it is. What a great educational tool this forum is. Many Thanks, Steve
