Makarov or FEG PA-63?
Hi ya'll This post started out much different but I edited it after looking on the web, I originally was wondering is there such thing as a Makarov Model?
Many, many, moons ago, my father passed down his Hungarian
Makarov 9mm (9x18mm) handgun to me. Never really paid much attention to it until now and after some web reading, I'm not sure if this is a Makarov or a FRG PA-63, or something else!
As you may (or may not) recall from an older post, after my father died, I went retrieve all of his firearms and my step-mother told me "they disappeared" so this is the only firearm that I have that was his.
My son who was named after my father asked if he could have the pistol as he was very close to his grandpa and wanted one of his firearms. I think its fitting that he should have it.
Filling out the California Intra-Familial Firearm Transaction form it asks for Make, Model, Cal, Firearm Origin, etc...
Model is a required field and I'm not sure what to put in the box, any ideas?
Thanks in advance.. Bill

Yes, indeed, Hungarian
pistol. It is in 9mm Makarov caliber. They are well regarded as nice shooters.
