    No1 MK3 BSA 1938

I have an opportunity to buy a No1 MK3 BSA, dated 1938. Is this a relatively rare year in terms of numbers produced? I haven't seen too many!

It's been sporterized. If this one is rare enough I'd consider buying it to restore it back to original configuration.

Any ideas who would have stocked those rifles, from that year, safe to assume BSA? I'd being trying to make it period correct.

    Your thoughts
