youll have to have it redone, notice the holes are not indexed right, and no hole at the rear.
id plug them and D&T for a Redfield base. if your gonna do it, do it right,
that way it wont have to be done again.

the holes are in line some reason the picture looks funny and they also ground down the rear of the receiver look at the 2nd picture .

I think I need to find a mount that will fit the 4 holes done or put iron sites on it I was able to get a left hand peep sight to mount on the rear holes but what to do for a front site I was thinking of getting a 03 front site assembly or use a rem 700 front site I figure it was BUBA IZed already so what the hell.
If the receiver wasnt drilled I would bring it back to mil

ML Stith made a mount that attached to the receiver ring and the side of the receiver bridge. However, I believe the company has been out of business for years so finding one (if thats what it is) could be very tough.

If you know a gunsmith you might see if a Weaver two piece base would at least fit the holes in the receiver ring. Then all you would have to worry about would be adapting the receiver bridge.

    Regards,

    Jim
