    M1 D scope mount question

Am completing an M1icon D, all USGI just not Army built, and was wondering if anyone has considered lining up the scope with the cross hairsintentionally "off" a bit to compensate for the offset of the scope?

??? Not sure of the intent of your question.

However, when zeroing the rifle via the scope, I just ensure the center of the group averages roughly 1-1 1/2" to the right of the point of aim.
