    Colt 1903 British Contract

    Added a nice .32 Colt 1903 Pistol to the collection.

    Britishicon Military Contract For Use in Ireland Circa 1921
    Enfield Inspectors Mark, Broad Arrow Mark & Issue Date of April 1921

    One of 3,300 Colt 1903 pistols purchased by the War Office in 1921 from the commercial trade, for service in Ireland.

    During the Second World War, many of these were passed to the Royal Air Force, the Special Operations Executive and issued to High Ranking officers.

    very nice indeed. 4. 21 marking behind trigger is the date of acceptance/issue, April 1921. I have only seen a couple in Englandicon, unfortunately not in the US. Does it have jj marking?
