    Shooting Range with the BOSS

Well Brandon, My grandson had a JR High field trip to Galveston with the band yesterday, so he was not up to going to the range. I took the BOSS with me. I think she really enjoyed it, because she said she wants to start going with me. The IBM shot really great, no jams no short cycles. I shot Selliors, and Aguila, both shot fine. We shot at 50yrds, so I put up 2 targets. Mine is the good one, and she put 3 or 4 in mine before I told her to shoot at the target to the right. I was spotting for her and she wasnt hitting paper, so I looked at my target and found out she was shooting mine! LOL. She did better after getting used to the sights. Her last 5 or 6 were getting right. She seemed to be hitting low, but she is new to a peep sight, I'll let her shoot my Inland with a scope on it next time. And the guy next to us was shooting a .308, and everytime he fired she jumped.

    Hi Rustship,

come on the lower ones are yours and you told us it was the BOSS!
Only a joke. Its great to have the wife out with you at the range. That makes her see your hobby a bit better. Does one of you wearing glasses? Her glasses are looking like safety glasses to me.
For me it is impossible to shoot with an rifle when the owner has no glasses. My POI is always 2" deeper and 1" to the right. Good shooting

    Regards

    Gunner

Dude, I know that look on her face (picture 2)... you just lost that IBM carbine to her - you just don't know it yet!

He may well have, of all the rifles I own, the only ones that my wife likes to shoot are the carbines.

    Rustship,

Opportunity is knocking right in your face! (Job well done!)

Now you have an excuse (I mean valid reason) to fill that empty slot in your gun rack!

While they're still available for a short time only, bid on one of those fantastic CMPicon Bavarian's while they're still available and tell her you love her so much you bought her a special carbine of her own!

(Heck, it won't cost you any real money if you put it on your VISA, and you'll still have the carbine long after VISA has raised your APR)
