SARCO's New C Stocks
I'm building up a 1903A3 barreld action.. I see that Sarco has new production C stocks and they say they aren't boyds. anyone have an idea who made them? I'm tempted to say the heck with it and spend the $$$ and get a NIW GI C stock.

Sarco's "C" Stocks
The one I bought came out of a box marked SILE, I believe they are made in Italy.

I got one.Its nice.Dark walnut with a lot of tiger stripe to it.The only fit problem was the trigger guard.A Smith Corona dropped right in ,a Rem was a bit too long on the rear loop flange.I took about .020 off,and it dropped in.The guard sat a bit high in the rear so I deepened the recess, and it fit perfect.Took about 8-10 minutes to fit,a coat of BLO,and its nice now.Gun Parts Corp listed USGI C stocks last time I looked.

I have one & needed to scoop out the stock hole a little to get the buttplate to fit. I agree that they are VERY nice looking stocks!

Yeh but... CMP is months out on filling an order. Even for things that they have boxed up and ready to ship.
I am patiently waiting for a C stock from CMP. 60 days so far!!

Northridge was at the last Reno Gunshow. They had a large box full of mint wood. Good bet for a California guy.

Got a C stock from Sarco and it was an excellent fit for my Remington A3. It was a dark walnut and only took 7 days to get to my door.
