    Exstractor help

Will a newer Ivers Johnson Extractor for or work with a 1944 Quality Hardware Bolt?? I just received the new member of the Family, A very nice 1944 Quality Hardware M-1, It was suppose to have issues with the extractor, however I found out that it was only the cheap 30RD mag that came with it, the two original mags work great, anyway I bought the newer Extractor earlier and thought I would go ahead and put a newer one in (upgrade) I was wondering what you all thought about the post war Ivers Johnson Extractor, will it work in my M-1??? Photos below of my Carbine, I am pretty sure the stock is Birch

Why don't you compare the two together. Remove the original extractor and look at it with the IJ extractor and if they appear to be the same then try the IJ in the bolt.
