Need some L81A1 parts.
I know this is not quite the correct area to look, but does anyone here know where I might be able to find a real stripped or complete L81A1 stock assembly? This stock looks a lot like the C3A1/PH 1200Target stock, but is cut for a single shot action. I have all the bits but the stock.
I tried Nurmrich GP and emailed Norm Clarke Gunsmiths, but got a negative from Nurmrich and no response from Norm Clarke Ltd.
Thanks for anyone who might be able to help.

I don't have any stocks. I do have rear sight assemblies, handstops, handstop rails and the little bipods. I think I still have some user handbooks here too.

Try Navy Arms/Gibbs Rifle Co. for a stock. They were responsible for the import of most of the P-H parts that came in the country in the 1980s and 90s. I'm sure GPC/Numrich bought most of their P-H parts direct from NA Co.

Hahh...
Brian,
You are the reason I am on this ridiculous quest to build up an L81A1 rifle. I bought some manuals and parts from you for an Envoy clone and just for fun ordered the preliminary user handbook on the L81A1 from you. After reading it I had to have one……..Now I am cursed to perpetually roam the earth, looking for these long obsolete parts until I succeed or succumb to old age trying.
Actually if I do not find a L81A1 stock I have a C3A1 stock that I can have duplicated sans the magazine slot, but it would be nice if I could find the real thing. It would likely be cheaper and more to the point; correct, even if it was an unfinished factory second.
I got some parts from Nurmrich, but in they have none of the stock assemblies, at least listed on their site. I have no idea how to get to the warehouse folks and see if they have an odd stock stashed away that is not listed on their website.
Thanks for your ideas.
