Nice Looking T code Underwood. The large M with flaming bomb is one I've never seen before. It's definitely been arsenal rebuilt judging by the bayonet lug and rear sight changes; both of which Underwood never used during their production. Enjoy it!

The stock is a late war replacement changed during the rebuild it went through. The receiver was made by Intertype Corp. for Underwood. The barrel is most likely original to the receiver. The trigger housing and the magazine catch are also Underwood. It is a nice carbine.

VERY nice carbine a_s!
I hope you have a great time shooting it this weekend and it functions well. It looks solid in the photos. Being a rebuild it should make a good 'shooter' - Unlike rare collector grades, you can shoot it without so much worry of damaging it in some small way that could ruin the value of a collector...... Even a small stock 'ding' can lessen the value of an unmolested carbine. Enjoy!
