    Type 30 parts help

Hello all, picked up a decent type 30 today sold as is for 200 bucks, figured it would be a nice project. I am wondering if anyone here can help me find parts I need for it to get it up and shooting again.
The rifle is missing the bolt face and associated parts (seems common on T30s) I did just order a bolt face, found one of those, but the other associated parts are still abroad, extractor, spring, pin and such
as well as the magazine follower, follower spring and floor plate

Are the magazine parts I need interchangeable with a type 38? I have one of those i can borrow from at the range if they work but I dont know if they would.

    Any help is appreciated!

I believe the Type 38 floorplate, spring and follower will fit but function isn’t all that great. For parts you can source via typical websites, send an email to Don Schlickman. He makes all kinds of reproduction parts in his shop for Japaneseicon rifles/pistols. His work is top notch, I have many of his cleaning rods, springs, screws, monopods, etc…

Here is his email and snapshot of typical Type 30 parts he makes. dfsjpn@aol.com

He does get real busy and swamped with requests so if you don’t get a reply, keep trying a few days down the road.
