M14 Low profile scope mount recommendations?
I'm looking for recommendations for an M14 low profile scope mount that would be in stock in 2023/24.
I have a friend who has an M1A with what we think is a Promag pm081a. I like the scope positioning and the look of the mount, but this seems to be discontinued. I find references to the ARMS 18 mount, but this mount seems to be discontinued as well.
I also find references to an IDF mount, while not necessarily low profile, seems easy to remove and install, which I do frequently. There is a similar Bassett mount, which I like the concept of but looks unusual IMO.
Are there any preferred scope mounts that are similar to these?
Once I get to that point, has anyone had issues mounting scopes to Bula M14 receivers?

Prior to being being put on the "Prohibited" list many U.S. Rifle M14 were imported into Canada and converted to Semi-Auto Only. Several enterprising Canadian gunsmiths took advantage of the influx of M14's into the country to build and sell scope mounts. A quick google search shows there are still a few making mounts such as here: M14.CA | M14/M1A CASM Scope Mount I had a similar mount on my M14 and it killed me to have to sell it when I moved to the U.S. 20 years ago.

I have an ARMS #18 on an M1A Scout and there is nothing lower. It's a great mount. I have a small Leupold Mk 4 tactical on it, and just use a small cheekpad.
I have a Sadlak that I use with my James River Armory M14 (made from a Bula receiver mated with a Winchester USGI M14 heel) It fits perfectly. Bula is good to go on USGI specs. The Sadlak is probably the strongest mount out there and very easy to remove and replace to zero; which was important because that rifle uses iron sights 96% of the time. But it noticeably puts the scope higher and you want a high cheekpad for it.
For dual-purpose, I would use the Sadlak and an easily removeable cheekpad. You can use detachable rings on the ARMS #18 (mount just stays on the rifle as the irons easily look right over the top of it,) but I don't know if I would trust that return to zero without a few shots each time.
