    Need 5 round (x2) pouch for M1903A3

As with the carbine stock mounted mag pouch, I am seeking advice on a stock mounted canvas (not leather) pouch that can hold at least two 5 round stripper clips of .30 ammo. The suggested pouch does not need to be original to the TO&E of a Springfield, meaning it can be for a Thompson, BAR, Carbine etc... as long as it can fit the ammo and be adapted with reasonable effort to a Springfield stock.

I would prefer a USGI item as opposed to some other nation's field gear (I know there are com block and Asian pieces of field gear that will fit, but I prefer a USGI item that can be adapted.

Some of the items I thought might work include a first aid pouch, M1911 two cell mag pouch (with the center seams ripped open to create a single cell.) But I was hoping that there is some piece of US field gear that will almost perfectly fit two 5 round strippers with .30 ammo that can be strapped to the M1903 ala the M1icon Carbine setup.

    All suggestions welcomed.

Have you tried a carbine pouch? I tried with mine, and can fit 2 loaded 5 round clips in there easy. only thing youll have to figure out is fitting it to a o3a3 stock. I dont want to pull my A4 apart to test that part, but least you know 2 5 round clips of .30 ammo can fit in a carbine mag pouch
