    T4 Dilemma. Sell or Strip.

    Hello Guys
I am wanting to get rid of my Lee Enfield actioned T4 7.62 NATO.. I am keeping the PH5 sight. It has a aluminium scope rail which fits in the stripper clip housing. It will eject cases as it has a after market 7.62 extractor fitted. I have 2 of the cheap 7.62 mags that have lost the welded ear at the back and the front hand stop.
I think these rifles have had there day and was thinking it would be better to strip it and sell the parts. Or would it be a crime and I should I try and sell it complete.
So should it be consigned to history or saved.

If the barrel is worn out and they don't perform then what is the value of the rifle? They were meant as an accuracy model, accuracy matters. I'd pull a barrel and rebarrel in a heartbeat rather than keep a worn gun. The mags can be repaired too. I'd just let them go. Figure out which gleans the most money.
    Regards, Jim

    Hi Jim
Unfortunately I never got around to developing a load for it. So I don't know if the barrel is worn or not.
    Regards Chubbs

T4's aren't worth much, probably not even the sum of the parts.

Stick it in an auction, or sell the parts, probably the latter

I thought you meant... Yes, an open forum of bidding would help it find it's value, if you have no attachment.
