    Question 1943 Long Branch #4 MK 1*

Top of the morning to everyone. I recently inherited an Enfield Rifleicon from my father. He said it is very special. I want to learn some more about it. I shot it and it is a tack driver. It has parker hale sights on it and I am not sure how to adjust them. It is a Long Branch #4 MK 1*. 1943 It has a third swivel by the trigger guard. Ya'll be easy on me I'm a woman with not much experience with guns other than loving target shooting.

jlking, It may be special in that it was set up to be a target rifle. Does it have a couple of brackets on the left hand side of the reciever wall? Look at Brian Dickicon's post on the '41 BSA for a pic of the brackets.

In general, Long Branch rifles have a very good reputation for fit and finish.

My condolences for the loss of your father.

    Brad

Photographs of your rifle would be very helpful.
