Toyo Matsushita Metals bayo. Subcontractor's mark looks like a M wth a lightening bolt through it.

This is the one you thought you payed too much for? Nothing wrong with that one. I've seen lots worse and not cheap either. Remember, they aren't making any more.

You have a very nice bayonet, one that any collector would be happy to have. Maker's mark is for Matsushita National Denki, under the supervision of Kokura Arsenal. Jim is right, they are not making any more.
