    The scabbard came from something else though, maybe a "Western" that was present during the time... That's a well used K bar.

    The chip in the blade will sadly knock a bit off the price wont be much but collectors of knife and bayonets are a bit fickle on condition of the blade.
    The worst thing ppl can do with an item is to scrub and clean away all the patina a collectible has thinking they are doing it justice well sadly they are not, light judicious cleaning to maybe clear up a name or stamping but please not mirror finish!
