FINALLY got a FInnish flag to use as a prop :)

I can finally proceed with the finnish MKLicon entries I was postponing pending arrival of a Finnishicon flag. No more burgundy dropsheet to my Finnish photo montages like in the M24 MKLicon entry

Here's a teaser pic. A bunch of Finn MKL entries to follow in the coming weeks

Flags are cheap on e-bay and if you can justify the expense - they make great backdrops for rifle photos

I could have saved you the trouble, of finding a Finnishicon flag.

I would have bought all your Finn rifles.................Starting with the one on the flag.

Just trust me. For what it would take to pry them away from me, you can't afford it

I'm not looking to sell, so you wouldn;t be just paying fair market value to convince me...

    Claven2:

Looking forward to seeing the rest of your Finnishicon arms!

I hope you won't mind if I attempt to inject a wee bit of semi-related humour here ... a number of years ago I was lunching in a Chinese restaurant with two friends (names of David Cormier and Randy Tronsgard, which is of relevance.) Towards the end of our meal we happened to be discussing our respective ethnic backgrounds, when a middle-aged Oriental lady (whose accent made it obvious that she hadn't been born or raised in Canadaicon and that English wasn't her first language) approached the table and asked: "You finish?"

Without batting an eye or cracking a smile, Randy responded: "No, Norwegianicon, actually ..." The woman literally backed away from the table in total confusion ...

FYI, it's a 1944 dated Sako SkY civil guard issued M39 with correct sling and brass nosecap

Very, very nice. I own a kissing cousin and it shoots as well as it looks. I don't think you will be sorry with your purchase-SDH

Oh, this one's not a new purchase I've had her for some time. SkY rifles in nice shape don't come along every day, so I hoard them! I've just been holding off on pics until the new flag arrived to use as a backdrop!!

And yes, it shoots like a tackdriver!

LOL... too funny Anyhow, Tronsgard isn't Finnishicon enough - you need a surname like Polotoloikigiliglas or some other unpronounceable moniker...
