    Interesting M1

Saw one the other day. Inland 77XXX serial, all early features, untouched, C/l\ Canadianicon property stamp on right side of butt. VG condition. Story was that it was from "The Devil's Brigade" the joint US-Canada special forces unit. Who knows? Had just sold for $1050 Canadian.

Sounds like a nice early Inland. Early Inlands are a field unto themselves and are very desirable. There seem to be quite a few nice unmessed with carbines with our neighbors to the North. Not long ago, someone was selling nice original parts from there. Unfortunately, they quickly dried up.
